Death and Distress.
Sometimes no matter how hard we try, blood will always leak past our fingertips, dying our nails the color of grim emotion. No matter what we do, everything is always bound to die.
10 pm begins to blind her. Binds her to this comfort.
Temporarily healing her eyes from the torture that they have endured. Shields her from the darker reality that has become of the moment. That has become of this night, whatever will become her life. Her pupils dilate and widen, until her iris' becomes nothing more than a powerless rim.

Summary
Ever since getting her brain fried by ACME and dealing with the seizures that resulted (plus all the wonderful side effects of the drugs that were meant to fix them), Carmen has just wanted her life to go back to normal. But it's been weeks (months?) and the only thing she has to show for it is an ever-lengthening list of drugs that didn't work and an invisible weight pressing harder on her shoulders (and her Team's, though she knows they're trying to hide it) every time she woke up from another eruption of neural chaos.
At this point, she's ready to try almost anything.
“How would you feel about a seizure alert dog?”

Carmen takes a hit she can't recover from. Forced to stay in a hospital, Team Red have to wait it out until Carmen gets better.
They knew that staying at a hospital was risky; they just didn't realize how dangerous it could become.
As news reaches ACME and VILE, the race is on to reach Carmen first. Will Team Red be able to shield their leader from harm?"
