Summary
“You weren’t asking for permission before,” he replied, voice tight and slightly accusing, but also confused. He never had any woman in his whole life ask for his consent like this and out of all of them he expected it the least from this one.
Lee Haeryun seemed to constantly surprise him.
“But I am asking now,” she insisted, staring into his eyes and ceasing any movement. Waiting for his decision. It was clear to Junmo that no matter how she pounced on him like a black jaguar before, and jokingly threatened him, she was deadly serious about this. He knew instinctively that if he said no, Haeryun would stop this immediately and they wouldn’t go further.
Junmo looked away.
He should’ve wanted that. For reasons.
But he didn’t.
He sighed. Closed his eyes, swallowed down the guilt-woven ball lodged into his throat and nodded. Resigned himself to the glaring fact that he was a cheating asshole.
Or, what we all wanted in Episode 8 to happen.

Summary
He didn’t know where he was going until the warm lights of a familiar hotel suddenly cut through the rain and the darkness. He slowed, blinking water from his eyes, realizing with a kind of detached horror where his body had unconsciously carried him.
Lee Haeryun.
He didn’t even have time to analyze why because through the glass doors of the lobby, he caught sight of her. She was dressed simply – dark coat, heels, hair pulled back – but she looked mesmerizing. Junmo didn’t know if he caught her in the midst of going out for dinner perhaps, or she actually just came back from one. She was talking to the receptionist, head tilted lightly, calm and smiling. Her profile was sharp, perfect, framed by the golden glow of the lobby.
In contrast, there was Junmo – in the dark, looking like trash and feeling rotten to the core.
He should’ve been leaving. He was a mess inside out, dripping blood and rainwater, looking every bit the criminal he was pretending to be and watching her like a creep wasn’t helping. If she saw him like this, it would have been a disaster.
However, as if she heard him, her gaze flicked outside and found him.
Junmo froze still.

Summary
Yeon Joo isn’t going to lie – it wasn’t a quick process.
Gyeo Re – unconsciously or not – was being even more careful in opening up his heart to her than when he first joined the hospice, but she didn’t mind. Yeon Joo was a patient woman by nature and she expected it, honestly. Just like the hurdles and the up-and-downs along the way.
She knew that in the end, it would all be worth it – and she was right.
