Summary
For five years, Link has been living in Ordon, having found peace and safety. Suddenly his home is invaded and he is brought into a magical field called the Twilight, where he is transformed into a wolf by an unknown power. After meeting a small creature named Midna, he discovers that he has been chosen by the gods to be the next Hero of Hyrule, and must save the land from the Twilight Invasion. Thrust into a role that he does not want, he must work along with Midna to stop the invasion and free those who have been transformed into dark creatures.
This is a game novelization set into a trilogy of books. Into the Twilight is book one.

“Well, yes, that's a big part of the job. But not all missions are about going around killing monsters everywhere. Sometimes we have to escort people to make sure they're okay. Sometimes we have to go undercover, and get involved in some ugly human stuff. When I was still at Beacon, my team and I got involved in some arms trafficking stuff. And more stuff like that.” he explained “The job of Huntsmen and Huntresses is to help and protect people from everything that intends to harm them.”
He drank again.
“And that's why I am here.” He continued. “To help you.”

Cinder Branwen is both better written than Cinder Fall and far more loveable. Also this fic is just plain good.
