“I’m not going back,” Angel bristled slightly. Didn’t they see? He had spied on them for almost a year, relaying everything back to Vox, letting him know about Lucifer, letting himself attack Cherri; he was not going back! Alastor seemed unbothered by his protestation, granted the radio demon was generally unbothered except when it came to Lucifer and Vox. The latter Angel understood better than the former.
“Because you don’t trust yourself or because you feel guilty?” Alastor said conversationally, like they were talking bout the weather. The red demon rubbed his hands down the mic in his hands.
Or Alastor appears at the Vee Tower to make Angel Dust a very interesting offer.

Sometimes, in the middle of the night, when he wakes up, shaking and in a cold sweat, he wants to be comforted. He wants to be held, to be around his pack so they can protect him, and he can protect them. But he had no pack, and he was foolish to get attached. The omega inside him was weak, and he needed to ignore it.
