Summary
Four years since the first Akuma showed up in Paris. Four years since Ladybug and Chat Noir promised to protect the citizens from Hawk Moth's evil. Going into their last year of school, Alya thought that besides the constant Akuma attacks this year was going to be fun. Full of laughter and good times as they spend one last year together.
She was wrong... very, very wrong.
When she and the rest of Team Miraculous showed up for the press conference on Hero's Day, she thought nothing of it. The plan was to thank Paris for the constant support, reassure people they are working on taking Shadow Moth down, answer a couple of questions and call it a day by heading to their secret base for take out and hang out. Maybe an Akuma attack if Shadow Moth felt particularly petty today.
What she wasn't expecting was to slam into the nearest emergency room with a barely conscious Ladybug in her arms with Carapace holding Chat Noir in the same state. For the first time since the duo appeared Ladybug and Chat Noir's injuries couldn't be fixed with a Miraculous Cure... even if she was conscious to cast the ability.
