This means you were only born with one quirk instead of 5 quirks. your original quirk was called Insanity (explained down below). It took 10 years of trauma until the pro hero Eraserhead (Shota Aizawa) and Present Mic (Hizashi Yamada) saved you from misery. After being taken to the hospital, Aizawa and mic adopted you and you lived with them until you were comfortable. And after a year you then started to attend U.A. to become a hero.

Acquiring a whole new quirk was rare but a possibility when someone is a mix of both quirks of their parents. And aspiring to be a hero from a family who has always been in a different career was difficult. Y/N had to train herself twice as hard, as a result. But she was determined and wanted to fulfill her dreams. Getting an admission to U.A. High School was just the start of it.
But along with it came other problems. Problems like Katsuki Bakugou - a foul-mouthed kid she has been dealing with since childhood and it was worse for being a friend of Izuku Midoriya. But the problems and fights she had revealed a new emotion in her for him, something she wasn't aware of for suppressing it. A strange feeling of similarity engulfed both of them - the same kind of fear they faced.
Then why the hate for each other? Well, they never tried to understand each other.
A sense of terror filled her heart. It was easier to deny the new feeling that was blooming in heart for the blond.
