Akaashi Keiji is a med student starting an internship as he finishes up his last classes of actual lecture at university.
On his first day a cancer patient around his age that's about to turn his world view upside down.
With no one else in the hospital able to keep your impulses, pranks, and mischief under control, Akaashi finds himself roped onto the oncology team and spending a lot of time around you.
Soon after, he discovers all of the ways life becomes complicated when one gets too attached to patient with cancer.
He also discovers... that maybe it's worth it to let life get a little messy.
