Summary
Izuku Midoriya learns the truth about his Quirk the hard way—by dying.
At six years old, he throws himself between Katsuki and a quirked pit bull, only to be torn apart in seconds. But death isn’t the end. He revives—stronger, older, and forced to fight again. By the time the dust settles, he’s killed the beast, but at a cost: three deaths, three resurrections, and six years stolen from his life.
Now trapped in a cycle of sacrifice, Izuku faces a cruel reality. Every time he dies, he comes back… but his body ages with each return. If he keeps pushing himself to save others, he won’t just die a hero—he’ll wither away into nothing.
But stopping isn’t an option. Not when Katsuki is still watching. Not when the dream of being a hero is within reach.
How many times can a hero die before there’s nothing left to save?

Summary
Izuku Midoriya is four years old when he falls into darkness and wakes beneath an alien sky. Lost and alone on the Tau world of Vior’la, he is taken in by the Water Caste diplomat Por’Vre Sae’li and raised among the Fire Caste warriors. Trained in their ways, he learns discipline, strategy, and the philosophy of the Greater Good. But deep inside, he still clings to the ideals of heroism, to the belief that one life is worth saving, no matter the cost.
As he grows, Izuku carves a place for himself among the Gue’vesa, the human auxiliaries of the Tau Empire. But when a battle against an Imperial psyker sends him hurtling across space and time, he finds himself back in Musutafu—older, stronger, and forever changed.
The boy who dreamed of being a hero has become something more. And in a world of Quirks and Pro Heroes, the lessons of the Greater Good refuse to be forgotten.
Now, Izuku must decide: Is he still the boy who wanted to be like All Might? Or has he become a warrior of the Empire?

Summary
To anyone who met Izuku Midoriya in public, he was an anxious but ambitious child who has an unattainable dream.
But to the people in the shadows, the misfits and outcasts, the people who toe the thin grey line between the two worlds that society has made, he’s Sparrow, a vicious informant who will give you all the deepest details on whoever you pay him to get information on. He tracks down criminals and scares them into the hands of the law, yet turns around and gives information to someone who has commited multiple felonies in the past week.
Shota Aizawa has mixed feelings about the bird: He’s put away the most elusive criminals, solved cases the entire prefecture was stuck on, but gave away secrets, secrets that most heroes swore on their careers (read: lives) would never escape the walls of a meeting room. Also, the little bastard is too snarky for his liking.
And yet as the bird flies, a flock follows.
Or: Another fic where Izu is a snarky informant, but this time, he’s bird themed.
