The world below their feet seems oddly comforting, it’s a calling, telling them to do it—to let go, to set themselves free of the torture they’ve beared. It’s urging them to leave everything behind, the people who believed them, the will to prove their innocence, everything they’ve gone through could be forgotten in this moment.
They don’t jump.
