    Arya forced her face as blank as a mask on the wall at the House of Black and White. Calm as still water, she reminded herself.

    The queen continued. “But they saw their folly and bent the knee to me, their rightful queen. They fought against the Night King and his cold dead. And they continue to serve me and my realm.” She offered a stiff, shallow nod to them then. “I will have peace. The gods made the powerful to protect those who cannot protect themselves. House Stark and House Lannister forgot that. They cannot serve while they squabble like hungry dogs over scraps. So they will be joined in peace. Lady Arya of House Stark and Lord Jaime Lannister of Casterly Rock, will marry at the new moon. House Stark and House Lannister will feud no further, by word or deed. Or-” She gestured wordlessly at the scaled bulk of Drogon outside, visible through the ruins of the back wall.

    The Others have breached The Wall, and the Night King now leads the Army of the Dead into the lands of the living. It is a land that is still not recovered from Robert's Rebellion, the War of the Five Kings, and now the War of the Two Queens. As darkness and winter soon fall over the land, Jon Snow, the King in the North, now brings the last child of the last Targaryen king of Westeros to the North, hoping that her army and dragons can turn the tides against the biggest danger to men. As Jon Snow and Daenerys Stormborn plan their fight against the inhuman danger to the North and the all-too human danger in the south, they begin to also dream of a future for themselves and the people and land that they wish to rule - a dream of a brighter spring.
