“Mm?” Joxter nodded, turning to face forward again, arms idly crossed behind his head and pipe hanging out of his mouth.

The confession seems out of place for any normal person. Laios is hardly normal though, and Kabru can’t deny that Laios seems to want a taste. Of him. Of the heart, still warm in his hands. And, of them both intermingled.
