Summary
Almost two years after rescuing a man at sea, Melanie embarked on a journey to help Henry return to his homeland. Struck by a storm in open waters a week into their voyage, her sailboat is wrecked and herself and Henry wash up on a distant shore. The good news: Henry is home, surrounded by his people. The bad news: To Henry, and everyone else here, Melanie is over fifty feet tall.
Rescued by a small military force known as the Eastern King's Watch (or Eastern Coastal Watch), everyone is forced to deal with the situation at hand. With tensions between the lands of the Vogunti Nobility and the island country of Hostenia nearby, Melanie's presence creates a risky new dynamic politically and militarily. Will she find a way to exist among the people of this place without strife? Will she ever be able to return home?
[Depictions of violence, some strong language, mention of nudity and suggestive themes. Inspired by the works of Jonathan Swift and those inspired by Gulliver's Travels and similar media. In progress, hoping to update weekly. Working Title.]

Summary
Melanie travels to the beach after a storm, as she often does to find driftwood and debris that can be used for crafts to keep herself busy in her lonely life, and sees a ship in distress just off of the shore. Unable to believe what's happening, she is able to rescue a sailor from the nearly-doomed vessel and take him under her care.
The biggest obstacle to doing so is that the man isn't even eight inches tall.

Summary
What's left of a hero when everything is taken from him? What's left of a villain with no identity?
What's left of a man who has no choice but to save the symbol of a system he's fighting against?
Within a city constantly besieged by a super-power fueled war between Good vs Evil, a hero is captured by a powerful villain and their secret organization and forced to play part in a twisting and enigmatic plan; to tear down the systems in place that keep the League of Heroes in an ultimate seat of power to rival the government itself. But... is the system as good as it projects itself to be? Are the villains and their henchmen really as evil as the media says? Is it truly as simple as tearing it down, or does that simply open up space for a new, worse system to enter?
Is the harm we do when we believe we're helping mitigated merely by our wishes to be better? To create something more? To fix what we believe is broken?
Do we hold blame for creating the evil we think we're fighting against, regardless of our intentions?
This work features descriptions of violence, abuse, neglect, and uses adult language, as well as mentions of nudity and sexual topics.

A lovely Tumblr user (rainy-rogue) sent me an ask or two regarding the ideas of Melanie being the small one in Melanie and Henry's relationships and interactions, and the one that's always felt like it had the most meat to sink my teeth into is if they had somehow swapped places on the way back to Vogunti after the events of The Rescue. They asked me for a little snippet, and then... well.
This is likely just a one-off, but it was a good stretch of my brain as I get back into the habit of writing more again this year. I hope you enjoy!

Originally posted to Tumblr as a fun little bonus scene of domestic fluff, this scene takes place at some point in The Rescue. Unsure if it will fit into the main narrative exactly, in part, or at all, but it's a sweet little scene and people seemed to like it!

A 'future scene' I wrote for The Rescue some time ago and posted to Tumblr. Unsure if/when it will fit into the canon. Wandering in the garden, a neighbourhood cat makes an appearance and is thwarted by Melanie and Henry's raven friend, and Melanie's fast feet.

Summary
A banished spell exists-- nearly a legend by now to the fae-- that would allow the faerie that cast it to take on the full appearance of a human. In order to learn and use this spell, a ritual must take place that involves the human's voice, the human's hair, and the human's blood, and that's all that was truly known about it in current days, the ritual in a long-banished and heavily guarded tome in the Grand Helstion's Oaken Palace.
It WAS all that was known about it... until one Fae was brave enough to find it, learn it, and go through with it.
...This story is not about that fae.
This story is about the hapless human who fell victim to a crafty faerie's wretched--or brilliant-- scheme.
That human's name is Daphne, and she's having a very, very bad time.

Summary
This was a story I began working on many months ago now just to get some ideas out with my OCs. Set in a modern world like ours, but within the last century a magical essence called "Ether" had been "discovered", allowing people with the aptitude and right training to be able to manipulate it in strange ways, to cast spells and effect the ether/auras of people around them.
Melanie invites a friend from College over to her house one day, long after they've graduated, to practice a new spell-weave she's been trying. Rowan is a taller-than-average techie with little to no experience with Ether, and Melanie- who's always had a crush on him- has been working on a spell to make him shorter. She's been working on it a while! But she's only really gotten it to work in a... pretty major way.
Later chapters get sexy, there are some unfinished/gap scenes throughout. Will post them over time to maybe give myself a chance to write in the holes. If you like Micro/Macro and Shrinking fics, I hope you'll enjoy this! Mostly wholesome, but again-- does get sexy later. Will mark in Chapter titles/summaries where the sexybits happen.
