“Y-Your Majesty, I -”
Before Rey can finish, Kylo Ren - the Emperor - the most powerful and feared being in all the galaxy - is mirroring her position and falling to his knees before her. She gasps as he reaches out, cradling her face in his big hands. This is it. This is the end.
“Beloved,” he breathes instead.
He presses his full lips desperately to hers.
---
For as long as Rey can remember- all 992 days - she has existed this way under the blinding twin suns of Tatooine. Overworked and underfed and claimed by a mate she cannot recall. The scar over her gland proves it.
But it's alright. Her other half will find her. One day. She knows all about waiting.
Until the New Empire descends onto the outpost.

Summary
“The only way I could’ve messed this up worse is if I’d summoned the Demon Lord himself,” Rey muttered in shock, staring at him, large in her tiny kitchen. Probably large in any kitchen, she thought wildly.
“Hey, I heard that,” the demon shot back, red eyes glaring at her, broad shoulders swathed in black bumping into the edges of her magic circle.
“Sorry, sorry, I just—you were supposed to be chicken soup!” she cried hysterically, flipping through Leia’s cookbook frantically, looking for any indication that she’d summoned the chicken soup incorrectly. Which she obviously had.
“A little witch like you,” he began in disbelief, eyes raking over her, “summoned me by accident. Because you wanted chicken soup?”
