Patrick lives with his parents. He’s eighteen and finally in his rebellious stage. He’s fallen for an older guy, a guy his parents both heavily disapprove of for a number of reasons. Pete’s a bad influence, to say the least, but he doesn’t mean to be; that’s just how he is.
Pete Wentz, the punk prince of Wilmette Illinois. The lead singer of a semi-successful local band Arma Angelus, performing sold-out basement venues and even opening for larger bands. That’s how he met Patrick, this little blonde kid who’d snuck into the twenty one plus venue with his weird little friend Joe. He’d spotted him in the crowd and from the moment he saw him he knew he’d have to have him. With his too-small glasses and attire that he was trying so hard to look cool in, Pete just couldn’t take his eyes off him. After the show, he practically stalked him around the venue until he got the courage to talk to him. Patrick was only seventeen at the time, and maybe Pete should’ve checked that before pulling him away from the public eye to get off behind the venue.
