    Brienne, daughter of Jarl Selwyn, finds herself at a point in her life where the home she sacrificed so much for seems in danger. Not only is she confronted with societal conventions running contrary to what the norns foretold, but also with a stranger coming to their small village North of the Vale:

    The Kingslayer, Jaime Tywinson, a man whose dark reputation reaches into every corner of the continent.

    While the man from Casterly Rock refuses to reveal his true intentions that led him to those stranger lands, it leaves the jarl with the tough decision of what to do with the Kingslayer now that he has invaded their territories, so not to bring Tywin Lannister up against them. After all, Selwyn does not wish for war, in contrast to most other jarls.

    Thus, the norns bind the fate of the warrior and the shieldmaiden together in the most unexpected ways, wherein both have to realize that they have a lot more in common than meets the eye, as the two share in dark secrets from the past, painted in green flames.

    However, just like the world is bound to repeat itself, those dark secrets may come back to light in the future close by.

    And so, the norns weave their destiny, for better or worse...
