Rated Mature for later chapters.Emma gets adopted by the Nolans when she is twelve and becomes best friends with sixteen year old Regina Mills. As they grow up, Emma finds herself crushing harder and harder on her best friend but refuses to say anything, deeming it “dumb and childish” for her to see Regina like that, especially when Regina would never see her that way.
How does that change as they grow older? After Regina moves to England for college but returns when Emma is eighteen to ask her to go with her. How will their relationship change?
Will they continue to lie to themselves, or will they admit how they feel and allow themselves to be happy together?
