Eddie lied when he said things wouldn’t change, little did he know how much they would. Buck knows why he lied to his best friend’s face, but he is not ready to admit that to himself.

Summary
“Who are you? Why did you murder my father?”
“You have a family, Carlos, you just got married. You have a husband to protect…and there’s your mother and sisters of course.”
“Leave my family alone.”
“Then you leave us alone.”
One moment changes everything. One moment opens two doors, both dangerous, both hard.

Summary
Eddie gets out of his car and walks into his empty, dull, Chris-less home. He sets his keys on his kitchen counter and goes into his room. He tries to go to bed, but sleep taunts him with its absence. He lays in his bed, wide awake. He is in love with his best friend. It shouldn’t be this shocking; in hindsight, Eddie realizes just how gay he is for Evan Buckley.
Oh.
Oh.
He put Buck in his fucking will.
“Because Evan, you think you’re expendable, but you’re wrong.”
Buck saved his son from a tsunami.
“There is no one I trust more with my son than you.”
“It’s like when you meet someone and you just… click, you know?”
That’s how he felt about Buck, not Tommy.
He is in love with his best friend, and it took him six years to realize it.
