Pepper shot him a look, her lips forming a disappointed frown. “Oh, really, Tony? Because I just got off the phone with May Parker, and she told me otherwise.”
Out of instinct, he tried to stall and deflect. “Since when do you and May talk?” He asked.

It's no secret that Tony Stark isn't a very affectionate person, or that he's not very good with touchy-feely conversations. However, Peter Park makes him want to ignore all of that and show the kid that he's loved more than he knows.
