Summary
Day 05 of Beifong Week - Healing Wounds
Lin spent years convincing herself that some people simply weren't meant to stay in her life, and most of the time it was her fault. Kya was one of those people. A friendship built over years that ended up becoming something else, but Lin never had the courage to reveal it.
Until Kya leaves for the South Pole again, and Lin realizes, too late, that she may have wasted her last chance to be happy.
Deciding if there's still time to be happy, Lin will have to decide if she's willing to risk losing someone for never having tried, or if she'll take that courageous leap.

No se esperaba que su tía Azula tuviera una idea similar y trajera a Lin Beifong con ellas ni que a su edad siga aprendiendo cosas de sí misma como el hecho de que una amistad de la infancia pueda florecer aún más.

..."They were too close. Close as they had been hundreds of times before, and as they had promised they would never be again.
Lin, trying to ignore the effect that this proximity had, asked in a low voice, “What song did you choose?”
For a moment, Tenzin simply observed her, still enjoying the rare and perhaps only opportunity to have her so close to him again, giving her a tender look with the question, but deep down his gaze also held an old sadness because he realized that perhaps it hadn't been a good idea to choose that song specifically for this moment, or any other, but now it was too late to go back or change anything.
He tilted his head slightly towards her so that only she could hear him.“Our song.”
...One year after the war against Kuvira, the traditional Republic City Gala Ball promises to be a night dedicated to new beginnings and celebrations. Lin and Tenzin have always tried to keep their boundaries clear to protect their choices, their remaining friendship, and the scars of the past.

Como en los viejos tiempos de verdad.
Se evitaron durante tanto tiempo porque en el fondo sabían que solo compartir una mirada bastaba para reavivar la flama. Y ahí estaba esa mirada de nuevo, solo suya, solo entre ellos, con nadie más. Estuvo ahí, desde el principio y seguiría ahí.
Fue la inclinación de su cabeza, el suave movimiento de su labio, casi nada, pero estaban más cerca de lo que habían estado en años.
Y aun así quería más aunque eso los condenara para siempre.AU donde Lin y Tenzin se dejan llevar por su deseo y son infieles para variar. Ubicado en el capítulo Linzin que nos alimento 01x06 "And the Winner Is.." con obscenidad como en los viejos tiempos :)
