Summary
Dazai was not a man to actively search out mirrors. When he did catch his reflection, however, it felt like staring at a stranger or, more accurately, a creature: wearing the face of a gentle, charitable, trustworthy man.
What an excellent disguise he had built for himself, without even trying.
If the bartender were to turn around right now, and take note of his customers face, he would surely notice the emptiness present in the brunette's pupils. A fogged over, far off look, reminiscent of a lone dead fish caught in a net.

Summary
Dazai dates Fyodor because he likes the way he hits him.
Should that be concerning?
He doesn’t know and he doesn't care. All he can really tell you is that the short guy at Kouyou’s car shop next to the Portside grocery store has nice hair, blue eyes, and—damn—looks like he could hit a hell of a lot harder than his boyfriend.

Summary
Eye-patch came off. Scarcely ever did, and each time Fyodor was oddly charmed by Nikolai’s mismatched eyes. Whether one, or perhaps both, were contact lenses or heterochromia was natural, that he couldn't know – seldom is the line dividing truth from lies set in stone, very much like the one separating sanity from utter madness – living and breathing example of the fallacy was right in front of his eyes.
Nikolai rested chin on a palm and leaned forwards. “Tell me Dos-kun, what do you think is the worse”, he murmured in equally sentimental and derisive tone, as if vacillating between scorn and affections. Despite the sorrowful smile there was something in Nikolai’s expression that alarmed.
“To clip bird’s wings or to take its voice away?”
In which Nikolai, driven to brink of madness by love, saves Fyodor from death and helps him recover. Except now that he finally has Fyodor within arm’s reach he won’t be so willing to let go.

Summary
Dazai Osamu has lived his whole life believing that Fyodor Dostoyevsky is his better half. They've known each other since they were children. He knows Fedya, inside and out.
So why does everything feel wrong when a pint-sized mafioso and the people of Yokohama look at him like that?
