Summary
The door creaked open and Hotch walked through while clearing his throat and apologizing for being late. His team looked up at him curious, he wouldn’t have been late if it wasn’t for something important. With a sigh he moves to his seat and slings off his bag.
“Gidden will be joining us later, he is busy interviewing a few agents for a position on this team,” Hotch says with his normal blend of boredom and seriousness. After a few moments of silence, he looks up at his team.
Spencer was the first to speak up, “I wasn’t aware we needed a new member of the team?”
From the looks of the other agents, they all agreed with the youngest. Hotch started getting his file ready for the briefing and silently wished he had drunk more coffee this morning.
“We are doing great work with this team; however, Strauss believes we would be more efficient with another agent. Both Gidden and I will make sure whoever it is will be a help and not a hindrance.”
And with that Hotch gave a quick nod to JJ and the briefing started.
