Summary
Celine doesn’t want Rumi to have to hide who or what she is, chooses instead to hide her away from the rest of the world. She raises and trains in their own private world, helping Rumi to understand and use her demon abilities and strength, she doesn’t know how this generation of hunters will react to Rumi but she wants to give her the best chance possible.
She teaches Rumi about the hunters, while Rumi teaches her about demons.
But the time comes for the Honmoon to select its two hunters, Celine and Rumi are thrust back into the world—one Rumi has never been a part of. To make matters worse, Celine’s terrified of what could happen to Rumi with the arrival of the new hunters, how they would handle not only having the responsibilities of being a hunter thrown on them, but that Rumi had the same patterns of their enemies.
So, she makes a fool proof plan.
Rumi will be their “bodyguard” for the purposes of the idol world, to keep all of their appearances in check and keep them close.

Summary
Raised by her mother, Mi-yeong, since she was little, Rumi grew up different from other children. Either it be her golden eye or the patterns or her unique mannerisms, Rumi found it difficult to make friends. It was just not in the cards when you’re a half-demon. But that hasn't stopped her mom from trying to give her the best life possible, where she is able to be normal.
It isn't until Mi-yeong and Rumi move to Seoul that she's able to go to high school, where she has a real opportunity to make friends. Fortunately, there's one very energetic girl in particular that seems eager to be one.
Or: Rumi is raised by Mi-yeong, who doesn’t suppress Rumi’s demon nature growing up, and soon tries to give her daughter a normal high school experience.

Summary
Throughout the years, the HUNTR/X has stayed together. Hunting demons, playing games, singing, or simply taking a break.
Sometimes throughout those years, Rumi doesn't act complete human, despite her trying to hide her demon heritage as best as she could with long sleeves.
Her actions are endearing to her friends though, even when she... does too much, in her own opinion.
But why does her soul and body react positively sometimes when with them? And why the hell does she want to claw a fan's face off when they flirt with one of them?
TL;DR, Rumi has no idea some of her actions is her demon side are basically just telling Mira and Zoey that they're her mates or something else. And her body isn't fully human, not just the markings.
Chaos ensues. More so when it's revealed.
