Summary
He hated how this grand palace with all its luxuries didn’t feel like a home. His own family barely even felt like one. From the eccentricities of his grandfather, to the disdain of his father. He hated it all, and wanted out.
This is my Zenos AU, where he defects at a young age, escaping to Eorzea and being raised alongside my main/canon WoL Diamanda Dorne. Who would have thought being raised in a supportive family and not constantly being treated like a monster could fix him?
Diamanda is a midlander Hyur, half Thanalan native/half Ala Mhigan. She starts off as a Thaumaturge, turns into a Reaper sometime during Stormblood. Zenos will always be a weeb, and is a Samurai in this iteration of him.Updates will be slow/sporadic.

Valentiones is usually a time of great celebration, but for one with the notoriety of him... It's an exercise in fending off admirers and making his fingers very tired opening every bit of fan mail and misplaced confessions he receives.
And so, he has decided to take the very healthy approach of escaping to the forest, where surely no one will be crazy enough to go looking for him, right?
