Alex's eyes screwed shut now, he didn't want to do anything but feel. The increasing pressure, the lack of words and uncomfortable closeness in such a wide space was intoxicating. He was snapped out of his halted breath when Miles spoke again, the chain resting on his bottom teeth, sharp canines brushing Alex's neck again.

Summary
There's no denying it. It's an unmistakable moan. A throaty, broken sound that Miles has definitely never heard Alex make before, because he'd know if he had. It’s similar to the sound Alex sometimes makes when he’s performing with the Monkeys, at the start of a bridge or a solo, but it’s also not like that at all. Because where those moans are deliberate and showy, this one is clearly accidental, and therefore much, much more intimate.
They both freeze, Miles's hand still gripping Alex’s hair while the ghost of the moan continues to echo inescapably through the room.
