“No!” Mel says a little too quickly, and Becca looks up in surprise.
“Why?”
“Because it’s private,” Mel insists. “I don’t look at your messages to Adam.”
“But Adam’s my boyfriend,” Becca says. And then she gasps excitedly. “Is he your boyfriend?”
