“Who did this to you?”
Anya tenses. Again her gaze falls. “I-I don’t-”
“You’re not in trouble,” Curly assures, sitting up straight. He gathers enough composure to assure Anya that his anger is not aimed at her. “You aren’t going to be in trouble if you tell me who did this to you. I promise, Anya.” Curly leans in, his demeanor calm, but his face still painted with rage.
“You don’t have to tell me who did this if you don’t want to. But if you do, I’ll make sure they get exactly what they deserve.”
Basically, an AU where Curly does the right thing for Anya. It's not entirely smooth sailing, but things work out in the end.
