Kinich never understood the concept of “dying for love.”
To him, it was foolish.
Why would you sacrifice yourself for a measly idea?
His mother never tried to save him, nor his father.
No one ever tried to save him, so he won’t save them.
He understood it a little more, when he met Mualani and Kachina.
He knows he’ll do anything for them, pay any price for them.
But he still couldn’t comprehend why someone would die for love.
He understood it even more, the day he got his vision.
Lying in bed, he realized that he had begun fighting, not for mora, nor fame, but rather to save those he loved.
Dying for love still seemed unreasonable, and Kinich knows he will still hesitate to sacrifice himself.
He never fully understood the concept of ”dying for love,” but he will pay any price for the safety of Natlan.
He would die for Natlan, everyone would be honored to, but dying for love?
He still didn’t understand.
That was, until a certain magician barged into his life, demolishing the walls Kinich had built up around his heart.
