Kaeya rolled over to face him. “Don’t be so dramatic Diluc, is it so bad to want to date someone?”
“It’s bad to want to date someone with the intention of dumping them as soon as you get bored with
them.” He eyed Kaeya over the top of his glass. “And you get bored very easily.”“You’re making a lot of assumptions here.”
“That’s the way things have been going for a while.”
Kaeya knew Diluc didn’t like his dating history. He was always nagging at him about it, calling him
“promiscuous” and a “heartbreaker”.“Maybe this time it’ll be different,” he said, in an attempt to pacify him.
Diluc scoffed into his glass. “I hope it is. Maybe he’ll put you in your place.”
Kaeya laughed at this. What was that supposed to mean? He knew everyone loved him. He'd have the boy wrapped around his finger in no time.

‘I beg your pardon?’
Kaeya sighed. He’d expected this kind of reaction.
‘I need to borrow your bird, to send a letter to Albedo on Dragonspine.’
‘Why don’t you just visit him?’
Kaeya hesitated for a moment before answering. ‘Dragonspine is his retreat when social obligations become too much to handle. It’s his safe space. I don’t want to intrude, unless he explicitly invites me.’
‘That’s…surprisingly thoughtful of you.’ Diluc replied softly.
‘Hey, I can be thoughtful when I want to be.’
At that, the man sighed. ‘Okay, alright.’ he finally gave in. ‘You can borrow Ocello. Just make sure she returns home safely, alright?’
Kaeya grinned. ‘I wouldn’t dare let anything bad happen to your favourite bird.’

Dr. Kreideprinz moves to the desk, picking up a notepad and pen and turning back to Kaeya in one fluid motion that leaves the ends of his lab coat fluttering in his wake. “You are aware of the study being performed today, correct?” Kaeya nods, to which Dr. Kreideprinz gives another one of his little smiles. “Your words, if you please, Mr. Alberich. I need to make sure that everything is okay.”
Kaeya feels his ears prickle with warmth and for Archon’s sake, this is getting annoying. “I’m aware.” He says with no small amount of strain.
Dr. Kreideprinz’s gaze is heavy. “And you are aware of all it entails?”
“I am.” Kaeya says, voice barely louder than a whisper.
Something akin to a fire lights within Dr. Kreideprinz’s eyes, and there’s a thick indulgence in his voice when he speaks, simply saying, “you may undress.”

Despite the flirty tone in his voice, Kaeya did truly feel bad for the mess he had caused. The suit certainly didn’t look cheap and he was beginning to worry that it was custom made. If there was anything he could do to help he would be glad to do so.
Being around the easily embarrassed man he is currently holding onto would simply be a plus.
