Hera Potter was exhausted. Not the normal kind of exhausted, no, she was cosmically wrung out. She’d died too many times, respawned in too many universes, and frankly, she was over it.
So when she landed in 1950s Hogwarts and discovered Tom Riddle was still human, still hot, and still obsessed with teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts under a doddering old professor — she made an executive decision:
This time, she’d stop him from becoming the Dark Lord. By sleeping with him.

The end of the war didn't exactly turn out how Harry thought it would. Listless and without purpose he jumps at the chance to change the past when he learns about an experimental new time device created by the Department of Mysteries.
I mean what else is he going to do? See a mind healer like Hermione has been begging him to, accept a ministry job, propose to go steady with his long time fuck buddy, Draco Malfoy?
Hell no! Harry would rather slowly drink himself to death while fighting Dark Lords. Who knows maybe this time it will stick.
