Mac doesn't, participating in a coup against Dennis that ends with Mac becoming the gang's new Number 1. But when Frank issues a challenge to Dennis that would reward him with his lost glory, Mac finds himself the subject of a convoluted, unexpected game that leaves them both winners. An unconventional romance, in two parts.

Summary

They're both 27, near-starvation broke on the edge of eviction, and somehow Charlie is the only one really managing to hold down a job as a janitor at a shitty bar nearby. Mac has goals, of course he has goals, but while he ruminates on them, stuck between jobs, he takes what he has to his advantage: free alcohol from his roommate who works at a bar and unlimited streams of women to choose from every night. If he sleeps with enough of them, he's bound to find one attractive enough to be tolerable, right?

Summary
It's Tuesday night. They should be watching Predator or Die Hard, sitting on their couch at opposite ends while Dennis pretends Mac's not staring at him out of the corners of his eyes, but they're not. Instead, Dennis is in the hospital chair next to Mac's bed, pretending to be his husband for reasons that he doesn't want to think about right now. He just wants Mac to wake up. Well, if he decides to wake up, that is. If Mac decides him and the gang are worth coming back to at all.
Dennis just wishes that things could go back to normal. Before Mac decided he loved Dennis and decided to shove it down his throat, before things got stiff and awkward and stuck between them. Then Mac wouldn't be in this goddamn hospital bed and none of this ever would have happened in the first place.
If only Dennis remembered to be careful what you wish for.
Set after season 14. No major character deaths.

Diagnosed with high blood pressure, Dennis embarks on a mission to lower his resting heart rate within a month. The Gang poses a challenge to this. Especially Mac.
