He could believe it would be okay now, just for this hug. “I was just telling him that you’re going to get him a stocking for Christmas even if we break up.”
“Oh, of course. You’re stuck with me, Ilya.” He pulled away and she kissed his forehead, making him blush. “It’s going to be okay. Ready to do this?”
He shook his head. “Shane didn’t give me a choice.”
“And I’m not either. Let’s go.”
