As she unlatches the locks, twisting the doorknob and pulling it open just enough for her to peek and lean her head and shoulder out of the doorway, she gasps softly at the sight before her, swinging the door open fully.
"Sebastian?"
The aforementioned male is stood at the end of her porch just above the steps, soaked from head to toe from the rainwater. His head and sullen gaze are aimed at the floor as he awkwardly repeatedly clenches and unclenches one of his fists, brows furrowed and his other arm gripping the strap of the equally-drenched duffle bag slung over his shoulder.
"...Hi.." Is all the man can seem to bring himself to say.

After a massive fight with Demetrius that set off the powder keg that was their household, Sebastian has had it with his shitty home life. He comes to the new farmer, Naomi, seeking refuge one rainy night, and somehow ends up with plans to move in as what's essentially a farmhand a few days later. As it turns out, she'd someday come to be his sanctuary—in more ways than one—and she'd come to see him as more wealth than any of the money she could ever make on this farm.

It was as familiar to Bobby as any of his old, half-chewed ball caps: an ugly little charm he gave to Sam almost two decades ago as a present for John. The same one he saw bouncing around Dean's neck instead of John's the next time the boys came to visit — and every time thereafter. The same one he watched Dean reluctantly hand over to the angel, and the same one that hadn't reappeared around Dean's neck, even though it was old news that Cas had returned from his fruitless search.
He'd never asked Sam what happened, and he didn't ask him now. Nor did he ask him why it was Bobby, not Dean, the kid was holding the charm out to. "Of course," was what he said instead, reaching for the necklace. "I'll keep it safe."
The whereabouts of Dean's amulet in seasons 5–7, as told through a series of conversations between Sam and Bobby.
