A younger Thomas navigates life at Downton Abbey facing hardships, but doing so with the support of his downstairs family, and with more care from the Crawley family. With the love of his found family he hopes to heal from his painful past and make a life for himself. With the Crawley's protection will he be able to find love in a time when it was considered a crime?
(Romantic pairings between Thomas and someone else (undecided currently) will not occur until he is older).

Summary
Thomas finds Branson in the hall holding his daughter. Feelings come to the surface, that of which he didn't know existed. He finds himself in a loop of Falling more in love and scolding himself because it's wrong. Tom is gay. He knew this. But still- He loved him more every second he was with him. What he doesn't know is that Tom loves him too. Has loved him since the night he almost kissed him goodbye.
