Soulmates are such a funny concept when you've never been in love before, and not a concept Grian enjoys entertaining the thought of. The idea of Grian sharing his life with someone sounds incredibly suffocating, anyways. That is, of course, until he unknowingly gets roomed with a pair of stunning green eyes and a smirk that could stop hearts from a mile away.

“I don’t think I ever got the chance to wish for one, I accepted my own fate before I got to wonder what another would be like.”

“About the marriage thing.”
“What?” Scar says, soft as night and rightfully confused, considering how the past five minutes have been an absolute downer.
“You were considering it, right?”
“Yeah, but I don't wanna get you involved,” Scar says, dismissive. “I was just thinking about it.”
It’s barely a few minutes before the clock strikes and he’s forced to deal with other matters. His tea’s gone ice cold and he still hasn’t finished any work, but he’d rather suffer and deal with it later than leave Scar with the impending anxiety of his future without him there, consequences be damned.
“But if I wanted to?”
Scar's been struggling to move to London due to visa troubles. As a last ditch effort, he considers getting married. Obviously, Grian is a part of this. -
