    It begins with Wakatsuki Nanami, an unlicensed child medic with more sass than self-preservation, and her unlikely bond with Todoroki Shoto—two emotionally repressed kids quietly learning what it means to be cared for. But this isn’t just their story. As they grow, new threads are pulled, bonds are tested, and quiet moments give way to something deeper.

    Spanning early childhood to the beginning of UA, this series explores healing and found family, balancing humor, heart, chaos, and the messy beauty of learning to stitch together a family of your own. Not every thread is easy. Not every bond makes sense. But some things are worth stitching together anyway.

    The Waka-chan Files is a slightly unhinged, nonchronological anthology of chaos, fluff, and occasional medical malpractice. It's set pre-UA and takes place anywhere from gremlin first graders to disaster-tier middle schoolers.

    Filed and redacted by the HSPC under Potential Villain Watchlist Records, these case files follow the early exploits of Wakatsuki Nanami (Threat Level: Highly Inconvenient), self-proclaimed best friend of Todoroki Shoto (Threat Level: REDACTED).

    This collection is a chaotic companion to the main series,Threads Chosen, Not Woven, where the found family and questionable decisions all began. You don’t need to read it first, but it helps if you want to understand why the chaotic duo keep ending up in emotional time-out and/or on federal watchlists.

    Each entry includes age and threat level at the top. Some files are fluffy. Some are war crimes. One is just Nana annoying Bakugou for three pages straight. You’ve been warned.

    they way they discuss the discrimination of and differing perceptions of Ability users is bone chilling and thought provoking and it's not even canon

    genuinely the best theomione story I've read yet
    everyone is very much in-character and the development seems so realistic
    I LOVE that we got to see Theo's world-view be challenged
    esp since it doesn't happen all at once. Even after he's accepted that muggleborns aren't inferior he still keeps learning more and having his view challenged (in a good way) like his realization of how wizard politics favors purebloods during Hagrid's hearing or about werewolves not always being dangerous except on a full moon
    AND the fact Theo is able to challenge her right back in a civilized way with the house elves
    SO FUCKING GOOD
    just the characterization in this alone is *chef's kiss*

    also love the world-building in this
    the author establishes lore to make ballet naturally feel like a part of magical/pureblood tradition
    plus no one is an ooc dance prodigy. They do a lot of work and training and even as good dancers for a couple of a third years, they acknowledge there's still room for improvement
