Summary
This is the eleventh installment of a 12-part SPN series. I needed some holiday joy and angst in my life when I wrote this a million years ago! Just a quick look at how their lives change over time.
Thank you all for the Con-crit, kudos, and comments! Please remember the con-crit, kudos, and comments are quite welcome an help warm up the rusty story-telling apparatus in my noggin. That pesky muse has been dormant too long.

Title is from the Joshua Beckman poem [Lying in bed I think about you]

No money was made by my shamelessly playing with characters made up by Mr. Fontana and Mr. Wolf.

Summary
A New Road is a 12-part SPN series that begins immediately after Season 4, Episode 6 "Yellow Fever". It is a bit of series fix for me because I want a happy ending for they boys, before everything went to H-E-double hockey sticks. Trigger warnings will appear as needed and reader ratings stay in explicit territory.
Chapters for the newest and last story in the series posted on Thursdays. Con-Crit, kudos, and comments are welcome and much appreciated!
Thanks for reading and enjoy!

Summary
The first time Hannibal uses a pet name, Will falls silent. He can't even muster a sarcastic comment, too embarrassed, feeling the warmth in his cheeks.
They're in Hannibal's kitchen, preparing dinner, Will helping him chop vegetables for the stew. Their relationship is still new, something that has been brewing since they met until the appearance of Tobias Budge led Hannibal to ask him out on a date and Will, who by then couldn't even pretend indifference, accepted.
Now, or seconds before, Hannibal, without looking up from the preparation in one of the pans, has asked him to julienne the tomatoes and, instead of using his name (which he likes to use so fucking much), he called Will darling.

Mid-S1, established relationship. Will learns to live with Hannibal's pet names, to be cared for, perhaps even loved. But the shadow of the truth, of the manipulations, hides behind the affection he believes he sees, leading him to confront Hannibal and leaving him at a crossroads where our cannibal must choose whether to continue with his games or save his beloved.Bookmarked by BogWitchery

Summary
The fall was two years ago, and Hannibal can’t stop thinking about the time he drugged Will in order to cut his brain open and Will protested but still let him.
Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) for him, Will can’t stop thinking about it either.
And they have tickets to the opera. And they’ve been teasing each other more than usual lately. Will knows these are all factors leading to something, but he has no idea what.
