The Captain and Winter soldier were walking away from him now, his only hope of survival would've been to appeal to them but even he wasn't that desperate. No, he would just open the walls around his soulbond and throw a hail Mary into the void that surrounded his end and hope by some miracle that he would get any comfort back. He wasn't dumb enough to think this would save him obviously, he just wanted to feel like his soulmates cared.
Which was stupid because they didn't but he was fairly certain his death would finally stick this time and maybe that could be felt in some way through the soulbond and maybe if he was lucky his soulmates would show some level of mercy on him and allow him some comfort in his last moments.
Yeah. It was completely delusional.
Horrible realisation clawed up Steves spine and he fell to his knees as he desperately tried to rearrange the pieces to paint any other possible conclusion than the one staring him in the face.
Tony Stark was their third soulmate.
OR- Steve and Bucky find out Tony's their third soulmate as they're leaving Siberia.

It was ok. His grandson had to process the shock of finally having a family.
And Gerald would do his best to make up for lost time and be a good, supportive grandfather because, as it turned out, Ivo was in dire need of a bit of assistance.

"Of course not. That's —" He cuts himself off. Ridiculous. Him and Stone. How could his grandfather even suggest such a thing?
"So he's not taken. Good to know."
Ivo refuses to give the conversation any further thought. He refuses to think of Stone in such a light. Relationships are so beneath him after all.

Prince Julian of Kerack, when he came of age and was officially named his father's heir, was gifted four bound and controlled witchers by the king of Kaedwen: the last four wolves of Kaer Morhen. Julian would prefer to accept the gift and set them free, but is forbidden from doing that on pain of their deaths. So instead, all he can do is apologize and treat them decently.
This simple, compassionate act sets off a series of events that will irrevocably change his life, his witchers' lives, and the lives of everyone living in the Northern Kingdoms.
(Technically incomplete in that the current ending was not the planned endpoint, but does not have a cliffhanger and is functionally a complete story. Subscribe to be notified when the hiatus ends.)

“And do you know what Mommies and Daddies do-” Ivo leaned closer, his tall frame slowly tilting Stone backwards, still firmly held.

Jaskier figures his normal gambit of flowers and poetry won’t go down well with a witcher, which leads to the immortal question of how to court one. Geralt figures if he wants to catch Jaskier’s eye he needs to compete with the techniques of the fancy courts Jaskier is used to. Both end in much confusion and little success.

Jaskier has zero intention of sharing the degrading experience of getting tortured. Ever. He’ll bury the memories and someday they’ll be as scabbed over as Caingorn was.
Which had been completely, absolutely, fine. And the only reason that wound is bleeding a little now is because fucking Geralt came out of nowhere—after the most humiliating experience of his entire life—and reopened the fucking thing. But that’s fine because he’ll leave and return to the terror of his smuggling work and forget about Geralt all over again. There’s nothing hard drink and the constant danger of execution won’t get his mind off. Because there’s something therapeutic about fearing for one’s life that makes anything not of immediate concern go away.
So yes, things were just fine before Geralt showed up.
Two years post-Caingorn, Geralt rescues Jaskier from prison and sends him with Ciri to Kaer Morhen. However, Geralt suspects Jaskier is hiding serious trauma.

After the dramatic and deadly events regarding the Eclipse cannon, Agent Stone and the eggcentric Dr Robotnik retreat to one of Robotnik's last remaining 'secret' Labs in the Midwest of the United States. There, they must conform to domesticity, as many things said go unaddressed, but Stone discovers there is much more the Doctor isn't telling him when he runs into a program by the name of "Sage". Confused as to what her purpose is, Stone attempts to befriend the program, and Sage begins to express confusion and uncertainty as to why the doctor made her. Stone must force this answer from the doctor, leading to things unsaid finally being revealed.
Will Robotnik's long-held desire to have a family finally come to fruition, or will it be shattered, just as his old Grandfathers had? Are the Robotniks truly destined to be alone?
