“It was thirty-two degrees,” Arvid replied without opening his eyes.
“It felt illegal.”
Liam was standing near the window, squinting out at the hazy glow of the city lights. “Why does the air look… textured?”
“That’s just the pollution,” Arvid said mildly.
There was a pause.
Isack stopped scrolling on his phone. “Should you say that so casually?”
Arvid finally opened one eye. “Today is actually one of the better days.”
