"You may now kiss the groom." The officiant says with a smile on his face. Jungkook swallowed the bile rising, nervously. This was the sealing of the indenture. He would be a husband, a King’s Queen. He would be High King. Jungkook wasn't sure what he expected his kiss to be like; he knew so little of the King’s personality.
But Taehyung lightly placed his hands on Jungkook’s shoulders and leaned down to look into his eyes. Those browns staring at the man in front of him.
The kiss was virtuous, barely what he would call a kiss. Taehyung’s lips hardly touched his before pulling away.
A polite smattering of applause came from the small congregation behind them. Only roughly thirty nobles were in attendance.
