Summary
Legolas was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, was it the right place at the right time? Elrond was saved, but at what cost? As their accidental bond forms, the twins form their own erroneous conclusion and forget their long term friendship with Legolas. Hurt by Celebrain's departure, the whole family tries to cope. Elrond shuts himself away as he tries to deal with Celebrain's harsh words and the twins fall into anger and violence. Legolas just wants out of this whole situation, but can he truly escape?

“Mandalorian kids?” Quinlan wore a deep frown on his face, knowing how troublesome that was for the Republic.
“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.
Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.
“I’ll take the risk.”

Elrond gets the flu, a premonition and an extended stay with the healers. Gil-Galad gets a fright and a talking to. Celebrimbor gets dragged out of Eregion kicking and screaming, and Sauron’s exes get to unionise.
Actual Summary: Elrond gets sick. Not just a little, but really properly sick. Given he can not currently trust any of his "friends", he resorts to hide. This has consequences.
