Summary
Izuna finally escapes the part of the Backyard where he had been trapped by the Sanctus Maximus, and good thing she was already contained prior to his escape so he doesn't have to worry about that. But he has a bit to catch up on, luckily he's able to make some new friends to get him up to speed and to enjoy time with.
Leo Whitefang on the other hand didn't expect a Yokai to suddenly make an apperance into his life and decide that maybe he is interesting enough to spend time with compared to others such as Ky Kiske, it's a welcome surprise to say the least.
Takes place in the same universe as my Striving For The Future series but no current or future entries will be required reading for this fic and vice versa.

Diego Brando and Hotpants could not be more different. To her, absolving her hidden guilt is most important. Whereas he places riches, and becoming number one before all else. She detracts herself from sins, whereas he indulges in them. She suppresses her true self, whereas he revels in himself with pride.
So when they’re forced to work together in the Steel Ball Run race, can the both of them coexist and work alongside each other, or will their opposing natures prevent them from working alongside the other? Or will they unexpectedly get closer and understand the other?
TLDR: Slow burn romance between Diego and Hot Pants ensues.

Summary
Bowser had a plan, you see. A brilliant plan that would enable him to infiltrate Princess Peach's costume masquerade ball, and woo her with the knowledge of what he's like under all those rippling muscles and his rugged, handsome face. What better way to do that than pretend to be something you're not and disguise yourself with a potion, right?
Only problem is that Bowser is having a little difficulty, and he's easily distracted from his initial goal.
Luigi, on the other hand, finds it much easier to be bold and flirt with the handsome man who has been hovering on the fringes of the ball when he has a mask covering his face.
