The words left his mouth before he realized how stupid they were. Annabeth made a broken sound somewhere between a gasp and a cry.
"I can't- Percy, my eyes- I can’t see."
The realization hit him like a punch.
Slowly, Percy tilted her face upward and his breath caught.
Dread unlike anything Percy had ever experienced tore through him.
Annabeth was blind.

Summary
Annabeth is in love with her best friend. Unfortunately, with the fate of Olympus, and therefore, the world, in Percy's hands, it doesn't make sense to try and start something with him. But if she doesn't tell him how she feels and he has the audacity to die on her, Annabeth might regret it for the rest of her life. Would he say it back?

The Battle Of The Labyrinth from Annabeth's point of view. Mostly important scenes, scenes from her side we never saw, and one chapter from Percy’s POV with a character rewrite.

Summary
Annabeth Chase had always been known the good girl. She never created issues, always did what she was told. Even when she and her best friend Percy were growing up, she was always the well behaved one. She never wanted to let anyone down, including her mother who pretty much abandoned her the second she was born. However, when a series of stressful situations causes Annabeth to break, she may have to get back into an old sport just to find herself again.
Percy Jackson had always been the troublemaker, causing issues for everyone, including his mother, who he felt like he had been too much trouble for pretty much his whole life. It didn't help that his father had abandoned his mother for the Olympics and then cheated on her, breaking her enough to go to Percy's abusive ex stepfather. Percy's father had even pushed Percy to be just like him, training him to be an Olympic swimmer to the point where Percy didn't even entirely know what his life could be like without swimming being involved.
Both Percy and Annabeth have to figure themselves out and can't let petty drama get in the way... Even if they were slowly realizing that maybe they weren't just the friends they told everyone they were.

During his celebration with his team, Percy's eyes found hers across the pool.
He grinned — swimming cap off, wet blonde hair falling into his eyes, blue eyes glittering with mirth, and of course, as always, he was shirtless. This did not affect her whatsoever, thank you very much."
Or, Percy and Annabeth are captains of rival swim teams, both with a single goal — compete in the Olympics on Team USA with as many of their teammates as possible.
