“We’re in such a pretty place, fratello. You should come with me to the market, ve? I’m going to buy food for the guests,” he seemed eager to get out of the house, like he always was at 7 in the fucking morning.
Wait, did Feli just mention-
“Guests? You mean that idiot Francis? I have no idea why you keep inviting him.”“Francis isn’t that bad, he’s like family,” Feliciano responded, adding in a quiet, “at least you don’t complain about Antonio anymore.”
“Hey, I heard that you bastard! And Francis isn’t family—I would never be related to that bastard. Also, we have definitely enough food for all of us. Don’t go out to buy food that we don’t need.” He pushed up from the windowsill to give his brother an stern look.
“Well..about that. I may have invited someone else,” Feliciano said, taking a step towards the door.

“You invited more people!? Feli, what the fuck??”
(OR, a Summer where Lovino can't catch a break and the universe seems determined to keep it that way. But hey, at least it won't be boring, right?)

Summary
Matthew was sick of living in Alfred's shadow, his own twin brother who would forget he existed in a heartbeat. Matthew's whole life had been spent tucked away behind his warmly beloved brother, soaking up all the warmth so Matthew was left with nothing but bone-deep cold. No matter how hard he tried, he was never enough and never measured up. A lifetime of neglect had taken its toll and left him empty and bitter. When a child is abandoned by a village, he will burn it down just to feel the warmth. He knew it was wrong, but it felt so so good to chase the warmth. Once he started he couldn't stop. He was spiraling into chaos and with each escalation, he couldn't help but feel comfort in the terror he brought.
Or, Matthew unintentionally intentionally becomes a prolific serial killer, unintentionally intentionally disrupting the life of his twin brother and all his friends as he starts on a path of destruction.
