Summary
“I’m sorry, do you have a problem with Buck?” Eddie asks, suddenly feeling protective of him.
“No, he's fine. It’s just with how much you talk about him, it feels like you should be on this date with him.” Eddie goes to open his mouth to tell him that that was crazy. He would never date Buck. Buck was his best friend. But then he started to look at Beck. Like really look at him. Once the realization struck him, he felt his mouth go dry. Beck was almost a carbon copy of Buck. They both were really good cooks, they loved fun facts, they’re both great with kids, they both look alike, and their names are even similar. How did he not see it?

Summary
So after months of going back and forth, he finally decided. He got a DNR. He signed up the paperwork and sent it to the chief. Legally he had to, but he didn’t have to tell his team because technically, it was personal information. That probably would have been the smart thing to do, but according to everyone else, he’s stupid and reckless, so why bother. He wasn’t planning on it coming out until after he was dead, but clearly the universe had other plans. And by universe, I mean Chief Simpson.
OR
Buck gets a DNR after Bobby's death. The others find out once Buck gets injured on a call

Summary
“No. This conversation isn’t over.” Eddie turns around startled, expecting Buck to have just walked away like he usually does.
“What?” Buck barely lets Eddie finish his sentence.
“No, we’re not done. You know if you didn’t want Chris to be around that, you could have said that in so many other ways. ‘No Buck I don’t really think it’s a good idea for Chris to participate in that stuff.’ ‘I don’t really want to, but we can go over to do something else so you’re not alone.’ No, instead you put me down. Called me delusional. Made me feel like I was crazy for wanting to feel Bobby’s presence, when that’s all I've tried to do since he died. And maybe I could have been more considerate of the whole ouija board thing, so I apologize for that. But you were still rude, and defensive, and repulsed by the fact that I wanted to talk to Bobby again.” It took everything in Buck to not apologize for lashing out. For raising his voice. He hated it, but if he didn’t no one would take what he was saying seriously.
Or Buck has OCD and tries to cope with Bobby's death. Little does he know the government has a secret worth dying for....

Summary
Now look, Buck knew that Eddie was just angry. Maybe he didn’t even mean the words he said. But even if Eddie thought he didn’t mean it at the time, he must’ve thought it at some point in their time together, or he wouldn’t have said it. I mean come on ‘Trials And Tribulations Of Evan Buckley, A Tragedy In 97 Acts’ You can’t just make something like that up on the spot. Buck tried to convince himself it was just because Eddie watched too many Telenovelas with Chris, but then they didn’t talk about it. Sure he brought Chris back as an apology. But he never actually said he was sorry. What was he sorry about? What wasn’t he sorry about? Did he regret what he said? And if he did, which words specifically? Then Buck started to think it was true.
So from that moment forward, he started to keep track. And for every selfish thing he did, he would do a selfless one to balance it out. Of course it didn’t take the team long to figure out something was wrong.Or
Buck spirals about his and Eddie's fight so he tries to make up for every selfish thing he does moving forward
