And suddenly, it strikes Hyukjae that Kyuhyun really is just another omega who will probably graduate with honors, go to graduate school, get a good job, marry an alpha at the same level, and have two children in a nice apartment in the middle of Seoul. The realization floods him with a tall wave of familiar, unconquerable sadness, and without thinking, Hyukjae leans in and wraps his arms around Kyuhyun’s waist.
Kyuhyun squeaks, but he doesn’t push him off. Instead, he giggles, leaning backwards.
“Hyung smells nice,” he says, something almost like fondness in his voice. Hyukjae wants to imagine it as fondness, wants to imagine Kyuhyun as his, wants to pretend like this will last forever even though it’s only been a month.
Hurting and suffocated where he currently is, Hyukjae feels an immediate connection to the kind, pretty omega who becomes his new roommate.

Watching Kyuhyun ramble on about the dying careers of his favorite pop artists of the early 2000s while Ryeowook takes long but thoughtful sips from his brightly colored cocktail, Donghae wonders if this is the perfect love he had always thought would be out of his reach.
Drowning in the ghosts of his past, Donghae moves to Seoul and meets two omegas who would change the course of his life forever.
