"Why are you still up?" George asks.
Dream shrugs. If it seems noncommittal it's only because he doesn't really know. Before, when George had still been thousands of miles away, when time and a sleep schedule meant absolutely nothing beyond being in sync, Dream might have been able to answer that question. Now, he's without excuses, without a need for his disquiet.

George suddenly sat up, his voice faint and slow. "Sap, you're such a lil' bitch. I'm so drunk. Why'd you mix these drinks so fucking strong?"
"Because it's funny," Sapnap giggled.
George huffed, clearly irritated, but then burst out laughing, "wait, you're right, it is funny." And then, full of that 180-degree-tipsy-giddiness, he turned to Dream. "You think it's funny, don't you, you idiot?"
Dream cocked his brow. "It's always hilarious to see you guys make fools of yourselves."

Sapnap giggled again. "Dream, dude, George fucked you."
