Icarus Gilded has worked so hard for everything they have. Even if their father did own a massively popular record label, they and their band had done most things for themselves. Everything was great, they had a wonderful, popular band, him and Ven were... something, and they were just about to go on tour! but then their mother's bastard showed up (if you could even call her their mother) and their father thought it would be a great idea for his band to open for them on tour. Great. Just great. They'll get through this, thy have to. Doesn't mean they'll like it. Doesn't mean they'll play nice.
Icarus Gilded has worked so hard for everything they have. But Rae Morningstar has worked even harder. Being raised by a single mom in a small town, helping out in his grandfathers' diner whenever he could, and performing with his partners on the weekends or really whenever possible. And things were finally looking up! They were going to open for a massively popular band, and while that band's lead singer may have been his estranged half-brother, he was going to make the best of this! All he had to do was play nice.Title is from Call Them Brothers by Regina spektor!
