But what if, instead of immediately hopping right to giving up his soul, he took the time to stop and weigh all his options? Along with the pros and cons of each? And in doing so, what if he realised there was still one more loose end to tie up? Perhaps even one more soul that needed saving?

If Clover is too afraid to die but has no idea how to live, what happens now? Clover doesn't know, he's just tired, tired, and scared of it all. But... he's staying with Miss Ceroba now, and things might still be a little scary, and fitting in as a human in the underground might be a little rough. But so what? He's still got friends, he's got a place he can call his own and he has a new face and a new name to keep him safe while he tries to figure everything out.
...but out of all the problems he could have expected, Clover beginning to like that new face and name a little too much was not one of them.

Clover tried to resist, truly they did, but they were so tired and they swore that for just a moment they heard a familiar voice…
“Boy! I’ve been empty for so long… It feels great to have a SOUL inside me again… Mmmm, I can feel them wriggling…”"
