Mission first. Freak out later. Jason Todd is already flustered. Roy Harper is clearly enjoying it. Dick wishes he wasn’t here.
Jason groaned, muttering under his breath. “I’m going to strangle you after this.”
Roy’s grin widened, voice low and far too amused. “Careful. You might get to choke me in more ways than one.”
Jason froze, face heating to red-hot. “I—what?! I hate you!”
Roy just chuckled softly, a cheeky smirk playing on his lips. “No, you really don't."

Jason still insists this was sabotage.
There is no other explanation for why Roy Harper is standing in the Batcave—hands shoved into the pockets of his hoodie, bow slung loose over his shoulder, posture relaxed in a way that makes Jason’s teeth itch—like this isn’t the nerve center of Gotham’s most paranoid family.
The elevator doors haven’t even finished closing before Bruce stops walking.
The cape settles. His eyes lift. Lock.
Jason feels it immediately, the familiar tightening in his chest, his body bracing on instinct like it always does when Bruce looks at him like that—like he’s about to be weighed and measured and found to be a problem.
Dick, unfortunately, is faster.
"Oh my god,” Dick says, stepping closer, head tilting as he squints. “Is that Roy Harper?”
Roy glances sideways at Jason, eyebrows lifting. “Am I in trouble?”
Jason shifts his weight, already tense. “You’re about to be.”
Dick’s gaze drops.
He squints again. “Wait. Is he holding—”
He leans forward. “—Jason’s jacket?”Jason exhales slowly through his nose and closes his eyes. For half a second, he considers turning around and walking straight off the Batmobile platform.
