Summary
Once he was properly put together, he needed to gather his things from the office. He made it a point to ready a bag for himself the night before, so he could grab it and go. Sometimes the residents of the house have other plans though, something along the lines of encircling him in a ring of love so spellbinding that he forgets his list of mundane tasks.

Summary
"Detective Sallow, meet Ominis Gaunt," Black said in an unusually reverent tone as Sebastian saluted him. "Mr Gaunt, this is Detective Sebastian Sallow, one of our leading young investigators in Major Crimes and Homicide."
Ominis' lips curled into an easy smile as he extended his hand. Not quite towards Sebastian, but vaguely in his direction. Sebastian took it cautiously, surprised by the firm grip.
"Mr Gaunt is a criminal psychologist recently transferred from the Cold Case Unit," Black continued. "He's one of the best and I'm sure he'll be invaluable to the team."

Summary
After the disastrous occurrences of 1891, Hogwarts' Hero is imprisoned in Azkaban for the use of Dark Magic. The school despairs at the arrest and the friends of the "hero" are left in ruin, Ominis especially. But what happens after homeschooled, forest-recluse Lilith Cypher joins Hogwarts as a 6th-year student? With her green fingers and fondness for long, scaled reptiles, will she unknowingly find her way into his heart?
OR
Lilith is dorky and naive, having no knowledge of the wizarding world besides basic magic. Ominis finds her cluelessness, especially for blood status, endearing and takes a liking to her.

Summary
The harsh cries of the jays faded, the trees crowding in thick and close, until even the rustling of leaves was stifled. Vash’s breaths turned loud in his ears, his heart picking up the unfamiliar tempo of anticipation.
Just as he hadn’t expected to find an invasive shrub in this part of the woods, so too had he been unprepared to find a man slumped in the cradle of a wych elm’s roots.
